Author László Moholy-Nagy

In Vision in Motion, Moholy-Nagy asserts that design be at the intersection of art and science and should engage users in both an emotional and intellectual way. Moholy-Nagy has helped me to reexamine my design process. He encourages practitioners to experiment and respect their instincts and laments the doubts that can manifest from the practice of perfectionism. Lastly, he explained the need for art to be uncensored and for designers to research heavily.

“Art is the most effective agent for emotional articulation” – Moholy Nagy

I feel empowered after reading Moholy-Nagy’s work as it gives me a license to work in a critical way as well as to follow my instincts along the way.
